Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

Polycystic ovary syndrome is not purely a gynaecological problem. Diagnosis can be made if the patient has two of the following: menstrual disorder, hyperandrogenism, polycystic ovaries. Polycystic ovary syndrome is associated with reduced insulin sensitivity which may lead to increased health risks.
